Rabbit67, while that is all good info, it wasn't really what I was wondering about.
Most animal feed is some kind of corn based meal. Yet beef which is only fed grass has a different yet subtle flavor and texture. It is more expensive and considered premium beef.
There is also anoticeabke difference between certain farm raised vs wild caught fish.
So I was wondering if there is such a thing, or could be, as premium shrimp based on what it was fed.
My guess is that kind of experiment has not been carried out, nor is necessary at this point. I still found it a curious possibility though.
