Agree. Lately trading indexes has been no bueno for me for this exact reason. You can do all the TA in the world but you can’t account for a random algo rip that ignores all logic or a bogus tweet on fake news that moves the market 4% overnight.
Going back to individual stocks and near or ITM options for some stability lol.
