Fly I love buy out rumours but I would normally take it if a company moves into a bigger office after great results scientifically ,it means they are going It alone ? for now

Not really. They've been in the same area for years. Corporations bio-tech and otherwise started moving to the area ~45 years ago to escape the high rent, taxes, and commute to mid-town Manhattan. Proximity to their current location is the reason.

BTW, less than $25 sq. ft/yr ain't bad. The landlord of their current building wants $27.50.

Or it could mean they moved into a medical office park looking for more space.

So, when Toyota moves in next to Honda, who's next to Nissan, who's next to Mazda etc. It means what? Toyota and Honda are merging?
Let's not get our knickers bunched up. This is a good sign for Amarin, they're small but growing. They're increasing their white collar staff, making room for sales folks etc. So back of the napkin math from a former Facilities Engineer. Figure about 200 sq.ft per person cubicle space (includes buffers), plus another 10,000 sq ft. For conference rooms, restrooms, hallways. Perhaps a cafeteria 7000 sq ft. We also don't know if Amarin will have a loading dock? Nahhhh, I don't get the feeling that Amarin is shopping itself, growing itself for sure. Let's see, so a staff of at least 500 people would require all of this space. Sounds to me like they're expanding. Companies for sale don't add office space.
Just my two cents,
