I'm pretty sure the audio illegally recorded by google is translated to text then archived but perhaps they save the audio but it seems like it would be a massive bandwidth and data storage issue to keep the original audio recording.
I'm interested to see what the q1 and q2 earnings look and if it says anything about China using googles search engine tech even though Google supposedly left China (and North Korea)...
