EG- Re: Was FDA right to rescind Anchor? Answer: Yes and NO!!!. ANCHOR SPA should have NEVER been conceived; however, this does not give the FDA reasons to violate proper procedure...and public rescindment of a SPA is regulatory malpractice...period***.

Now...Re: Amarin needing a partner. You are completely off-base and wrong. Amarin needed a partner in the fall of 2012, nobody was smart enough to buy AMRN at $60 PPS after Marine approval. Fast forward to the de-risked Amarin.... It's not for sale anymore.

BB

***Amarin would have won this litigation had they went this route. It would have led to a fast-approval SPA for R-I and not the dumb-ass Kennedy First Amendment route.

everyonesguess, I don't agree with you that FDA did the right thing not approving Anchor. At the Adcom, all those panel members to me are idiots who didn't have any idea about inflammation at the cell level that JL preaches or blood lipids or plaque volume nothing and they claimed experts to evaluate this drug on that day. And they killed it at the hands of the very same FDA that is supposed to save all those dead in the last 3+ years. Imagine had they granted Anchor and JZ kept it GIA, we could have been >$300 per share now with the scripts growth and sales by now. And of course hundreds of thousands of lives could have been saved. This last sentence is true that NO ONE can deny. So FDA was wrong.
