#124906 RE: Regulator06 #124862

Remember, the killer app, taggCRM, itself will be ASTRONOMICAL.

What do you think will make this happen?

I'm glad to see the TAGG approach - taking advantage of the familiarity with the tagging feature for photos.

And it's good to see they now have an app for the mobile phone.

Here's my skeptical position:

1. If a product won't sell well then a new marketing approach may or may not work -- it HAS to be able to provide real value. It is still not clear after all of this time that it does.

2. While some think apps are the answer, the fact is that ecommerce revenues on mobile devices comprise only 20-25% of the total. And, in the USA mobile traffic is still a minority also - about 40%. So I can't help but wonder - will a mobile app have a greater effect than the non-mobile download? If so, why?

3. Being able to create an interactive video quickly is a great feature, but anyone that thinks they have something of value when they can pull a video of Rush from Youtube and put a 'tag' of a link to ebay on it in 30 seconds may want to think twice. Or three times.

4. The most comparable thing we have are the Brighttools apps. Usage is growing but we don't know if 'current' usage is growing, and we don't know if revenues from the app are significant OR are growing anywhere close to the historical usage numbers being shared. The withholding of this most critical information is intentional. It may not be for shareholder-positive reasons.

SO, given all of the above - why is TAGG the 'killer app'? Because Rory thinks it will be? He's thought MANY things would be the killer app, and so far they are not hitting any homeruns.

Hopefully it will be a killer app, but can anyone here give a good reason as to why or to clear evidence that it is quickly becoming one?
