Excel, thanks for the input. I appreciate your thoughts.

Regarding the 20 foot room length, I have deepened the closet near the door opening to three feet, effectively making the rooms 17X11.

Of course that makes the entry three feet wide for three feet but I think that may work. I had thought of making the closet deeper but the entry could possibly create claustrophobia.
