But you do believe LP and Les are lying by withholding the fact that the trial failed years ago, right? Wouldn't they be idiots for this too?

I don;t really think anybody did anything to the trial.

Given the Less comment, I think most likely what happened is that they designed the program for a trial with a small number of sites, AND the dice rolled off normal.

I would love to know what really happened though.

EDIT I am fairly certain Les would not have intentionally lied on such. He is not a frigen idiot, He could have ducked the question if needed.
