They need at least a year or two to bolster earnings, valuation and enough backlog to grow after going public again.
Maybe not public till they get a working version of a metal air battery.
What's a bad idea ? To be funded by an oil and gas power that can squash your developments in order to maintain status as an oil and gas power. Oil and gas see continued dominance for decades, anything that threatens that will be worked against.
They may want to get a piece of renewables early on, but nothing would be allowed to upset the apple cart too soon.
