For relief of tennis elbow, here is a simple, effective, do-it-yourself technique. Slap the elbow area of the affected arm sharply about six times sharply. This is to get the elbows attention and make sure that it’s paying attention to you. Quite vigorously, rub almost the entire arm up and down with focus on the elbow for at least one minute, you will see it is an isometric activity. Then take a minute pretending your elbow is an English muffin, and dig your fingers into all the little nooks and crannies. Ok, call it shiatsu if you prefer. Hold some places longer when appropriate. Then repeat rubbing vigorously for a minute.
This technique is also effective for carpal tunnel syndrome, and the sooner it is acknowledged, the quicker the recovery. Kill the monster when it’s little. Big monsters take more time.
