I am more interested in how GLF NV has been doing in cultivation #'s for crop sizes and sales. As they have had ample time to get off several crops and sell them. Jujuy is just a pipe dream if they can't even produce decent crops indoors in a controlled environment in NV. IMO

Jujuy closes commercial agreement and faces strategic alliance for the production of cannabis
December 17, 2018
Jujuy al día® - On the property of El Pongo farm, a commercial agreement was signed for the start of the cultivation and production of cannabis between Cannabis Avatãra Sociedad del Estado (Cannava SE) and Player's Network (Green Leaf Farms).

In this way Jujuy proceeds to initiate the cannabis production plan with therapeutic applications. The rubric was between the holder of Cannabis Avatãra SE, Gastón Morales and Mark Bradley, CEO of the North American company.

It is noteworthy to mention that Green Leaf Farms, agrees to establish in the Province of Jujuy its center of operations and the industrial center of the activities it will develop in the Country and in South America. For this initiative Jujeña, the North American company will offer its experience in the cultivation of cannabis on a large scale and will provide the necessary funds for the stages of production, manufacture and distribution.

Governor Gerardo Morales participated in the meeting and said: "We are very advanced and Jujuy is the first province that got very busy with this project, we are very close to import permits for seeds and we have already planned where they will be produced". To which he added that "there is still no province and no public or private entity that has the level of progress that we have, we have approval of security, INTA and health."

Also, the President said that in a next stage a laboratory will be installed in Perico where Jujuy will produce and sell cannabis oil throughout the country.

To close, the Governor stressed that this project is in addition to the renewable energy, lithium battery factory that will open a way to the province for the entire country. "We are very happy, because there is a company that will concretely invest in this project and that has to serve us as an alternative production in the future," he concluded.

Gastón Morales, President of Cannava SE, said that "we are setting the pace at the regional and national level with the Player's Network company, now with the challenge of obtaining the country's first permit for the importation of cannabis seeds and the different varieties that are they are going to test in El Pongo farmland. " Regarding the stages contemplated by the project, he specified that the first phase of the pilot plan of cultivation involves the germination of the seeds, then the transplant will come to the open field and from there the analysis and testing of the adaptation of the different varieties of plants of cannabis to the climate of the province. "Thus, finally, an approved industrial scale plan will be designed to produce medicinal cannabis not only for the province, but also on a national and international scale, which is why it is a very big challenge".

Finally, Gastón Morales remarked that "it is very important that this crop, besides being the first in the country, will be 100% organic."

For his part, the Minister of Health, Gustavo Bouhid, mentioned that in Argentina medical cannabis is allowed and effective for refractory epilepsy, and that in addition, work is already being done with imported oils at the Garrahan and El Cruce hospitals. To which he added that "the doses that have been working for each patient is close to $ 1,500, as the cheapest, and with this laboratory and others that are part of this project addressed by Jujuy we will have doses that will be close to the 100 and 300 dollars. So this is a great benefit for patients. "

Finally, Bouhid indicated that Jujuy will be the first province to have its own cannabis production, where studies will also be carried out to patients in the public hospital and finally Jujuy will take the oil for the research phase in other provinces.
