Not at all. Both expectations are possible and they probably started with 240,000 baby shrimps.

Now, these little creatures had no intention to die in the tank and obviously wanted to grow to be part later of my lunch.

So BINGO! OVER POPULATION and delay in growth.

The privilege of captivity, I guess. NOT dying or being eaten by predators.
Out of 300 eggs buried by one turtle, only 3 make it to the water.
and after that....good luck.

So SHMP is looking GOOD.
