So how come Anavex is monitoring the gut microbiome in the P2a patients?

Could be correlation they are looking for, but it could also be that they are looking for possible efficacy.

2-73 turns on and off as needed. There is no reason to believe it doesn't work in other places. It's oral, and if it can permeate the BBB it should be freely flowing through the body of anyone who takes it.

How about we find out what's really going on before we decide if it works or it doesn't work????

The assumption that because any compound is effective at the sigma 1 for CNS disease somehow correlates elsewhere at sigma 1 you will find will not pan out over time in its treatment possibilities. Also how about if we find out if it’s actually effective for CNS which is as of today unproven
