Pat Gelsinger says he doesn't want the CEO job. Intel needs to make Pat an offer he can't refuse. They can afford it. Then Gelsinger needs to repopulate the board with members who have a clue about process technology and processors. Can a CEO summarily fire the BOD? I suppose the CEO serves at the pleasure of the Board. Would this take shareholder activism?
