With each day Sigma’s process gets more and more efficient. The evaluation process has been streamlined from ad hoc, 6-12 months unstructured evaluation to a rapid 5-8 week highly structured evaluation. The product has gone from bulky standalone system to one that can feed through lasers and soon board level integration. The installation package has been standardized and made much less intrusive. Every one of these changes makes Sigma’s appeal to OEM’s, OEM customers and individual corporations even greater. Every one of these improvements makes it an easier choice to ‘include Sigma inside’ rather than buy a clunky product and work out how to install it. Once it hits board level integration and a simple software option it really is just an easy add on. This effect should not be underestimated. Something to think about.
