Was talking to a grocery clerk who said if shutdown continues food stamps will not work soon they were told so to get ready for that scenario. Which if it does happen it will most likely trigger dems to give up on fighting the wall issue. Jmo

Truth.
We’re nearing the end of what feels like a never ending line of hurdles.
I’m so ready for the govt to be out of the way for good.

Current options:

1. Dems fold, gov reopens; offer southern barrier funding. ~1-2 weeks.
2. Trump folds, gov reopens; no southern barrier funding. ~4 weeks.
3. Trump folds, gov repoens; dealings continue ~3 weeks. Nat'l state of emergency in 3 weeks after - the Lindsay Graham option.

Seems as the closure continues, people of all sides are realizing this minuscule cost to help sure-up the border is worth it and is purely a political move on all sides. They understand it's a necessary move by Trump. Those affected are majority Democrats in VA and MD so it's those blue state senators and reps hearing it the most.
