It was legalized to such an extent that it went from being a Schedule I Drug viewed as the devil by the DEA, to an agricultural crop under the auspices of the USDA that was completely removed from the Schedule of Controlled Substances

This happened because both the FDA and the DEA gave Mitch the approval to do so

The FDA and the DEA also gave Mitch the approval to include Hemp-derived CBD in the definition of Hemp — otherwise, Grassley’s amendment to remove CBD from this definition would have been far more seriously entertained

So inactuality, while we call it Hemp Legalization, in closed door meetings taking place in Washington D.C. during 2018, it was referred to as Hemp-CBD Legalization

The reason why Hemp Legalization happened so swiftly and completely in 2018 is not because there is a sky-high demand on the part of clothing companies to sell hemp sweaters

The amount of money to be made from selling CBD as a health & wellness product and a consumable product is truly gargantuan

And in a capitalistic country like America, money makes things happen

And happen fast

In this case, it happened in only 6 months without a single vote required

In the first time in the history of cannabis in America, the DEA has been soundly defeated

Does any rationally-minded person really believe that the reason why this series of incredible events unfolded in this fashion was because Americans (and international markets) are clamoring to use Hemp fiber as a structural component?

The name of this game is Hemp-CBD and the subsectors that are generating the demand for it are medical/wellness and beverages
