Let me clarify on all stocks I mentioned, just so I don't leave them out there. I bought them at reasonably low prices. FATE was purchased for an average price of $1.7. I was happy with my early uptake on that one, but Car-T deals made them much more expensive, understandably. Their IPS technology is very exciting. MESO slightly above $3 (ADR), and ATHX I started accumulating approx $1.46 and below. I like them each for different reasons. MESO is a smaller position, but I like it still, a lot given their GvH top line, and other potential. I am not as confident on their technology and I have some minor concerns I won't go into. They have a bunch of late-stage trials for big indications, and their GvH results are encouraging they are not testing a bad product. ATHX also has big potential and I love their technology as well as their thinking, generally. FATE has an incredible patent portfolio, had a deal with JUNO when I got in, at that time (now CELG). I was also in JUNO, at that time, not hugely. My larger position was FATE, though FATE was an early stage for me, I like later stage, more distressed plays, but Rudolf Jaenisch connection to the company also made it irresistible. But its far more expensive now and it would take a much larger investment now to get the position that I bought. It's still early. Not saying one way or the other, but there's a lot of inherent risk.

I don't recommend any stocks to others, and I think when you buy and why you buy and what you're looking for are very important things, as well as how you manage an entire portfolio, balancing risks of different sorts with a variety of companies. How you watch their ups and downs is important and if you're an active trader or a buy and hold investor. I don't actively trade, but if I have a huge up, and a negative position that I want to rebalance, not necessarily even divest, I may use the two to transfer risk out of my portfolio (as I might see that at that point). I have a particular approach and interest in each company I invest in, and that may not fit others needs. I also reserve the right to exit any company at any time given any developments that may not fit my interests or may change my outlook or where a better opportunity may manifest.

Just some thoughts.
