That was a classic reverse merge where a private company buys a failed public company in order to gain listing status cheaper than the cost to do full blown IPO. And 2+ years ago.

The old StemCell is gone. The product is gone, it is now robotics, not stem cells. The investors got a minor fraction of what they bough in for (unless they were really lucky/smart and bought/sold that 6X jump).

Got it, thanks - looks like the ticker STEM became available after the reverse merger and later Stemline Therapeutics must have grabbed it.
