I think Rahaman Bal and Varanasi still might have them beat here. Borosilicate is surprisingly strong stuff in the right shape. And we know silicates are more bio compatible compared to Titanium. Are doctors going to trust it to not shatter? They think SiNi has a potential to shatter. I think they hear the word ceramic and think of it as pottery. However this is anecdotal and your surgeons mileage may vary.
