"I think we are good for a couple of years before wholesale pricing pressure becomes an issue. Vertical integration is a huge factor in future profitability - They are the producers, distributors and retailers."
Agree, possibly a few years until Aurora will have trouble selling [retail, wholesale] for more than their costs [production, sale].
I know several Canadians who bought from gov sites on legalization to now only prefer one of several popular Canadian 'black market' sites who ship an ounce for a low $3/g. In other regions across North America, 'medical grade' cannabis has been sold for as little as $2/g. Wholesale prices are collapsing at a fast rate - It's inevitable. We are not close to the bottom.
in the near term, Aurora might not have an issue selling production capacities with a high profitability... that doesn't make Auora a good investment.
Some Analysts thought Aurora would be a successful long-term investment that would grow funds over a period of 1, 2, 5 or even 10 years.
it could have been as simple as this... but its not.
It's now risky for long-term holders (big money, smart money, the market)... many have/are chosen/chosing to not hold.
The share price is pre-ajusting. The analysis is clear and presents great investment risk.
