Hey Blue. I Feel so Bad for You!

I too took a beating from this. I had everything invested as well, but saw the writing the wall and got out at $ 1.47. Still haven't recovered. Maybe if this creeps up you can cash in and try to increase your portfolio in some other stock - maybe AVXL. Might be a good time to get in.

Hang in there and remember it can always be worse. A lot of people out there that can't walk or wipe themselves. Be grateful for what you do have. God bless you Blue.

Blue, at the end of the day it's only money, so maybe you have to work a little longer than planned before you retire. There is a lot to be thankful for beyond ADXS. The market is driven by fear and greed, and unfortunately you as well as many of us put a lot in ADXS due to greed. At the end of the day we made a bad investment. I think along the way the problem was amid all the one sided optimism and pumping from you and many of us we forgot about the risk and we have no one to blame for that but ourselves.

You know Blue, it's been said that "Greed is good", from the movie Wall Street I believe. Lots of folks here supported that sentiment over the years. I'm not sure if you were one, but if you were you're certainly not any longer. Reigning in the white collar crooks and bankers will only help the vast majority of us. "They" have devised a legal system designed to have the money flow from the masses to the select few. We all thought we could ride the coattails up with this stock, only to see now we never really had a chance unless the science was stellar. They remain whole, and I suppose they knew they would all along. We only have one weapon against them - there's a lot more of us than them, and we vote too. Choose wisely, my friend, if not for yourself, than for your children and all those who come after.

Blue,

You are way more than your bank account and any accounting of your assets. You make decisions every moment around how you act and how you treat others, and what is important to you. This is a good time to try and take a “mindful gap” from this situation. Look at your life separate from this situation.

The Dalai Lama instructs people in this way...
1 First, do no harm to any sentient being
2 Second, if you are able, do things to Benefit Beings (humans, animals, insects)

You have posted how much you love dogs. Finding happiness by rescuing, caring for and providing a home for other beings may be one path forward.

Blue, believe me, I know the feeling. I got wiped out too from this bad investment. Lost almost everything. Hard to believe they are getting away with this...there was always that carrot dangling out in front there to keep us invested and hopeful. We have come to the end of a long hard ride.
