I have a 5 minute drill I do when first doing due diligence on a stock to see if I am interested in pursuing further. One step is to find the stock on Yahoo Finance page and click the Statistics tab. Among several numbers I check is the Float in the right column. a Billion share float and I don't waste any more time with it. 18 M raises an eyebrow and I am eager to find out more.......
