Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) today released the following statement on the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recommendation to the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) to move marijuana from a Schedule I to a Schedule III controlled substance:

“HHS has done the right thing and DEA should now quickly follow through on this important step to greatly reduce the harm caused by draconian marijuana laws. While this is a step forward, there is still much more that needs to be done legislatively to end the federal prohibition on cannabis and roll back the War on Drugs. I am committed to continuing to work in Congress to pass important marijuana legislation and criminal justice reform.”

Wedbush said: "While cannabis would still remain federally illegal as a Schedule III drug, rescheduling it to a lower Schedule would have significant, industry wide implications, chief among which would be the relief from punitive 280E tax provision, arguably the most penal of all regulatory hurdles facing multi-state operators (MSOs), which effectively requires operators to pay effective tax rates between 60-90%. To be sure, rescheduling cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III would be materially beneficial from a profitability and cash flow perspective, at a time when all MSOs are focused on cash preservation."

Thanks for the message... I lost my my password to an account with my list of stocks. I could remember the symbol.

I'm starting to get the warm fuzzies again with the MMJ industry. I just feels there's a weee bit of tracking these days. It's been about 2 year of complete boredom. MMJ companies have done rollbacks, cut expenses significantly by reducing staff and growing a pound has gone down to $300. Governments are starting to notice that the black market has made a comeback due to high taxes and changes in some states have been made or are looming.

I would by shares on the Canadian market, but aside from that a little accumulation or a small first position at 4 cents is more than worth it in my opinion.

The SP has reached an attractive price range to start buying your first position, to accumulate or to risk averaging down. I'm a cheap ass so a 5 cent entry point for me is fireworks to my portfolio. This will be my second time accumulating after selling in the 25 to 30 cent range. All MMJ companies in North America even the darlings like WEED have been affected by similar issues. Charts for all companies are similar. I like the professionalism of this company right down to the packaging and I've spoken to management several time. I know I can always contact them for updates or information. A real family type of environment that will even call you just to say hi and give you some news. It's been rough for everyone. We're going through a supply and demand issue that will resolve itself.

The MMj industry is in the whole even for the better companies. Look at Canopy, the darling of Canada. Down from $72 to the current price range of $4.

People got burnt chasing prices to unimaginable heights and the sector is unwinding to crazy lows even for good companies making over 200 million a year with big cash balances.

I suggest bottom feeding for success and to choose the right companies that can manage to be around for the next run up.

Since the purchases were made from an IRA, the amount is in line with IRA annual max rules.

800k is a good amount. I agree they have a small op today and revenue is light but no need to reinvent anything, just replicate what they already have.

Imagine your typical Mike Tyson fight... Mike Tyson runs after his opponent at the beginning of the first round and lunges at his opponent with one big nasty punch to the face and the opponent falls between the ropes and bout over.

Directors buying shares after a shares consolidation that wasn't sufficient is call saving the SP from crashing. Can't you see investors dumping shares?

50,000 shares for an insiders at 6 cents is hardly a good show of faith wow a whole $3,000. Do you know how many shares I had before I sold everything at 28 to 32 cents? Over 800,000.

So like director purchases is just a means of trying to pump the stock with investors not work their salt.

Directors using their own money to buy shares is always a positive sign.

$CLSH is taking a pounding... The share consolidation wasn't significant enough with today's market condition for the Cannabis industry. The MMJ sector is seen as dead money now and all the potential financing's are long gone.

They should have rolled back shares to 25 million. So at this moment shareholders lost their shares and those that kept the little shares they had left are now losing more money hand over fist.

The CLSH story is not strong enough anymore and chances are it won't make it to the next run up. Revenues are small and it's a small operation without many options to try and reinvent itself.

This stock might find itself in the 1 to 3 penny range.

Now that the reverse split is over, it's time to load up and hold. It's a great opportunity right now to buy low, and accumulate. With the news about cannabis the other day, I feel weed stocks will have a nice surge. $CLSHD has BIG time upside, I'm sure their revenues by end of year will look strong.
