Isn't a reverse split good for stock prices? If the amount of stock out there is reduced, doesn't it raise the value of the remaining stock?

Anyway, I want to have enough stock in my account so that when this continues to run, I can retire. I have a boatload now, thinking about buying a bigger boat and continue filling it.
