That might be the reason why there was no deal back when they were in talks, perhaps the terms weren't beneficial to Aurora in the long run.
I really wouldn't want to see Aurora be partially absorbed into some big multi-national corporation anyway, Aurora will do better as the standalone industry leader. (Nothing wrong with supplying the big boys though.)
Something that I expect to see in 2019 is further consolidation, with Aurora and one of the other (unattached) biggies merging. I just hope that future M/A can be done without further dilution.
