"Engaging" usually means communicating - could just be discussing the terms of receiving/testing/tweaking prototypes, relevant NDA's, IT Protection language etc.etc. Prospective Partners may have the prototypes, and they may not yet but certainly prototypes are at the very least almost ready for delivery, if not ready or already delivered. Either way, its good enough for me.

Gates, from the very first line, Lightwave Logic, Inc. (OTCQB: LWLG), today announced a 50 Gbaud polymer modulator offering to address fiber optic communications needs for links over distances of 10 km or longer.

To me, this means the 1st commercial 50Gbs proto is ready for customer evaluations, is it physically in their hands today, it did not specifically say that, but if it is ready by way of the word "offering" then it should be in their hands I would think

in addition weren't people told that when the prototype was ready for delivery to customers there would be a news release so make sense this would be it

Seemed like Lightwave officially announced that they have a device to send for sampling.

That's pretty cool.

People were worried about delays, then we get this PR. Next investors will be like "well, that's fine, but are we going to get the tracking numbers of the prototype shipments so we know exactly what day they go out??? Anything past my cats birthday, January 7th, is not accetable"
