It’s no mystery that typically this time of year, the market sells off to make benefit of capital gains/losses for tax purposes.
My thinking is that sell off happens now to establish the LONG/TERM gain/loss. Then the market can buy back in to reset the LONG TERM cap gains/loss date for next year.
We should start to see a SANTA CLAUS rally for the remainder of the year as the market buys back in.
I’m no economist or seasoned investor but that’s my thinking, right or wrong.
