If I recall correctly it was estimated to be 24 weeks and this batch started somewhere in early July.

....but when I contacted F&T last month they said that the growth would takes a few more weeks, thus the now estimated harvest to be sometime in Jan..

The reason for the delay was because growth had slowed. The growth had slowed down due to the lower than anticipated mortality rate. And having more shrimp in the confined space causes the growth to be slower as they get larger..... a good problem to have!!!
