Thanks. "the Breathe trademark debacle" may have been before my time here, but a basic word mark search shouldn't be expensive or complicated. (A patent search can be, for sure.) The trademark applications that TAUG abandoned didn't result in registrations for two reasons: 1)The registrant didn't know wtf they were doing and 2)The need to register a trademark becomes less important when there's no product to trademark.
