They state if p is less or equal to .006 they will stop at interim.

I believe this is why they designed the interim look at 9 months instead of 6-8 like cherry but that is pure speculation

Low. AMRN always maintained they wanted R-It to run to completion
From memory ... reading AVII analysis of final results it seemed they could have stopped at Interim 2 based on data on primary endpt ... 5 pt MACE .
Just my recollection of his analysis

They probably needed to go full length to get 20 % RRR for CV related death stat sig .... my layman’s understanding

This data as will be Evaporate trial data , is really important . You can see how it’s scrutinized / attacked .... so they will want the results rock solid .... not “ trending towards “ ... no second guessing about results if it had run to completion
