pork chop......I remember that I was holding around 336000 shares of alpine, and started to sell blocks of shares 50000 at a time...I expected the price to drop from 3.45 but it did not, so I sold another block of 50000 shares..... same thing, the stock price dropped a little, about 2 cents...so, I surmised that the MM wanted to get out too, but they had to hold the stock price up so that they could get out at a high price also... Now, that was just what I thought, I really did not know why the price was holding at about 3.40, but at the end of the day, I had unloaded all of the 336000 shares, and my friend, also unloaded his shares too... all in all, I made over a million dollars that day....I wanted to hold the stock, but it was fortuitous that my friend started to sell, (he was queasy about holding calpine), I started to sell, and then I got the bug to sell it all that day... good thing that I did...I still think MW of the equity committee sold the shareholders out with that phony ringer he got to make the asset assessment of alpine.. he folded like a dead flowers when questioned in court....remember the midnight filing by calpine to say that shareholders would get nothing but warrants when we were all sleeping at 12.01 A.M.?...crooks..Harbinger got calpine for a measly bridge loan (can't remember the amount)....Lodas
