"but only a mild treatment effect in men" means "not statistically significant." That's a fail.
I don't think Koneru or Barry the Dentist should be PI's in ActiPatch trials -- I think that's part of the problem, frankly.
(BTW for new people -- Eppley is not a dentist, he's a plastic surgeon. I'm making a joke reference to Rachel's fiance in the old TV show "Friends." the point is: a PI for a trial should be an expert in the field and preferably published in the field. Why is an unpublished Plastic Surgeon acting as PI on trials for migraines or menstrual pain? and why did a company executive and his brother act as PI's on a trial?)
