“Remember, mass production has been presented to us as the ultimate goal for many years now, for different strains (MS, DS...) but it seems that the Company never ceases to look for THE perfect strain...in order to mass produce, of course”
Kim seems afraid to mass produce. Afraid he won’t have a perfect batch.
The silk being produced worldwide isn’t perfect. Our silk will be much stronger than what people are used to. Apparently he thought it was good enough to send shoot panels to the Army. He also sent samples of DS2 to the Army I believe. The question is can he produce large amounts of acceptable silk to be commercial.
There has been one excuse after another, but never a good excuse to not mass produce silk in commercial quantities .
Now years after Kim gave his better guess as to when commercial quantities would be a reality we are finally in Vietnam . We have the infrastructure to produce and we will have the product sell ........ so let’s go.
