Had a great time at Chez-Chaz! It was wonderful meeting you all.

I 'sold' Vascepa to my PC by saying i wanted to take fish oil pills but they gave me terrible burps and I heard Vascepa did not. She immediately took out her script pad and it has never been an issue since then. Trigs have never been an issue with me.

Thats why I always say it is about the burps. Especially since she knows I deal with acid reflux.... but I can honestly say that I've never taken a fish oil pill so wouldn't know if they made me burp. Opening the bottle makes me want to gag every time with the smell alone... so I would never ever even try to swallow that crap. It smells vile to me.

Perhaps if you have the sniffles and need to visit 'urgent care' some time - you can discuss with that doctor and tell them you've been getting fish burps and would like to try a different Omega 3 - and leave it at that without getting into the cardiovascular benefits of taking Vascepa....

Or get a new PC. Too many think they are 'God's Gift to the Earth' and don't understand that they are replaceable. I heard that from a priest once many decades ago - if you don't like the messaging - then find a message you do like and go with it. I've lived by that ever since.

P.S. - I'm always game for Ruth's.

Did you know they actually have a great happy hour in the bar?? Reasonable drinks and reasonably priced 'snacks' - to include a good steak sammy and fries for like around $10 give or take. Haven't been in a while.

The one by National Airport in Crystal City is a great one - you can watch planes take off and land at National Airport.

Moral of this story - if it takes longer than we expect to get to $100 - lets not wait to get together again!

Chantilly; Do you have an Optometrist? If so, the latest angle I used to get an off-label script was through my Optometrist. I told him of my complaints of dry eye syndrome where OTC eye drops (Liquid tears) didn't work. I was able to convince him to prescribe Vascepa. Albeit somewhat pricey but perhaps with the coupon you'll have better luck with your insurance?
