Of course a shareholder is going to submit comments. Why would he not submit comments? He has investors to answer to.

Ackman = common shareholder champion. More skin in the game than anyone else.

But even he hedged with 20% preferred share allocation of his GSE investment (breaks even if common go to zero and preferred go to par) and who knows if he added more when Fairholme was selling shares.

Anyone without 20% of their investment in GSE preferred shares, like Ackman, needs to take a long look in the mirror and ask themselves, "why am I more bullish on common shares than the person who owns the most common shares in the world?"
