The Director's response is due 11/13.

The Director of the United States Patent and Trademark Office informs the court that he exercises the right under 35 U.S.C. § 143 to intervene in the above-captioned appeals. The Director indicates that he “intends to argue that this Court lacks jurisdiction over Arris’s appeals because there is no affirmative statutory authorization for appeals from Board decisions not to institute inter partes reviews.”

Any response by the Director to ChanBond’s motion to dismiss is due no later than November 13, 2018.
