Well, expecting it when the trial was nowhere near likely to be finished was an exercise in wishful thinking rather than reality. Every month ahead, increases the possibility, whether shorts like that reality or not. As they get later in the trials lifecycle, the likelihood of breaking news increases, whether good or bad...that’s just reality.

While this is true, your statement neither a) disputes that it still a possibility nor b) provides any proof for why it *wouldn't*.

There are lots of things that have "mantra"-ed about that have never materialized. Claims of driving the price to 0, imminent bankruptcy, proof of withholding material events, weird conspiracies about preferentially rewarding holders of preferred stock...also which, as far as I know, never materialized.
