The trip was great, spending time with Marylou in a place that she loves made it all the more meaningful. I’m in awe of the ability of the human spirit to overcome life’s most difficult challenges with such love and dignity. I now understand after so many years that my accident I had in 1993 that caused me to be disabled for 10 years, with 14 surgeries and financially wiped out with medical bills had a purpose........
It was to meet this wonderful human being who became more than just my physical therapist, She not only helped me to walk again, she became our friend.
This weekend she again put into perspective what life is all about and I will be forever grateful to the circumstances that brought her into my life.
