Ha! from the "letter" > The combined results achieved through the holistic design opened a new route for the development of next generation electro-optic modulators that can be used for future on-chip optical interconnects.

Come back and see me in a few years if/when they get this from concept to prototyping, until then...

LWLG materials have been clocked at Fempto-second response time, which means that the 130Ghz/160Gbs standalone speeds Dr Lebby is achieving in the lab now is really just the beginning, based on the math, standalone speeds in excess of 1 Terabyte/sec are achievable with LWLG Perkinamine material systems!

Oh, and that's just the 2nd Order stuff!

Ride the Wave!

PS - the Industry is "stuck" at 35-50 Gbaud

Those government sponsored education labs... Sure... We know how easy it is to move from concept to product out of those basement labs... if they ever get there.

It's really difficult to take someone seriously when they consistently post things they don't read as a "smoking gun." it didn't take too far into the paper, nor did it take in depth knowledge of photonics to know that this isn't really much of anything. It's plain as day if you cared to actually read it.
