AMFE/Roger Need(s) a Project/Timeline Tracker!
Anyone on this board who's worked in construction, manufacturing, distribution or pretty much any other business endeavor knows (and has probably used) a tracker. They keep timelines and future objectives moving along a path designed to meet these objectives.
AMFE has a whole lot of positive things occuring that depend on timing: Permits, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, construction of new S&L's, PR releases, etc. You name it, and every one needs to stay on a strict timeline. Otherwise, the objectives aren't met.
Why doesn't Roger hire a good Project Manager to make sure all contingencies are considered and planned for well ahead of time? He is a great visionary and has a knack for picking the right opportunities. What he needs is someone to take care of all the details needed to implement his vision.
I may be missing something here, and AMFE already has such a position. But, from the missed timelines, particularly in reporting, either there is no such position or the person filling it isn't doing a very good job.
I'm long AMFE for over 1.5 years and will remain long because I see the huge potential this company has. Not bashing, just trying to offer constructive suggestions :)
