I think after the large short position which contributed to the speed of the decline, Rory put Nasdaq at the top of his priority list. But with revenues still a question mark he decided he needed a company like Sound Concepts to make it happen.
He wasn't comfortable with waiting for it to happen organically because that may have taken too long - he couldn't bear the thought of being subject to the wild swings on the otc for another year or two.
