I don’t know about ‘strange’. I know one person who posts who said he approached MaxD wanting to invest by buying shares privately and was put off when it was explained that they were only interested in selling convertible debt swaps.
Clearly a lot of people have been interested in investing in MaxD this way. MaxD has been a very successful fund raiser.
