Only two possibilities IMO.
1) It's a secret.
2) Even IDCC doesn't know.

Nokia charging $3.50 per phone for 5G. Ericcson $5 max per and Qualcomm $16.25 max per phone. IDCC - ?????

Hydro gen,

Sorry, I must have missed your post.

What I'm concerned about is this movement by some industry players of starting a movement away from paying patent fees.

I don't know if it is to provide a patent free zone for the IoT's in general and I don't know if and how it will effect the 5G cellular industry as a whole.

There are several Car companies listed as members in "The LOT Network" and it may explain why there has been no further automotive participation other than BMW in the Avanci patent licensing business. Don't get me wrong Avanci continues to gather patent holders to their cause but I don't see much news around "payers" willing to join.??

I guess if and when Huawei resigns with IDCC it will answer some of my concerns. IDCC is sitting on lots of cash so I'm not concerned in that area. It's all about if the big players are going to continue paying??

"The LOT Network has been around for a few years now. Its mission is to fight patent trolls and it does so by having all of its members commit to a pledge that ensures that whenever they sell a patent to a company that’s in the business of patent trolling, all of the members will automatically get a free license to the patent.

Current members include the likes of Google, Facebook, Amazon, Slack, GitHub, Cisco, Canon, Lenovo, Netflix, Alibaba, Crate & Barrel (yep) and most major car manufacturers, including Tesla. More than 300 organizations are now part of LOT and today, Microsoft is joining the fray."
