As far as streamlining and repetitive parts, that's not the way Tesla has been operating. Teardowns have shown wild variations in materials and builds in the same models. They're literally making it up as they go (which will also make their service costs skyrocket since there is no such thing as a standard Model 3 - they're all built differently).
