GMas all due respect and you and I typically agree, you are speaking as if you were a fly in the room and know for a fact what happened with the caveat of "trust me".
That said, I have come to trust your judgement but the reality is that none of us here really know why Geoffy left and at this point it is a mute point. The obvious answer on Q not being filed is truly that they acquired a cash operation that kept loose records that had to be understood, clarified and compiled in such a way to be hold up upon review. As a non reporting private entity of course there books were crap. Now enter Players Network a fully reporting public company who has to internally and independently audit the books for compliance. There was at that time no expectation that the audits would be done quickly and full expectation that likely we would be late resulting in losing QB status. Perhaps they could and should have done a better job of explaining this but why impose self inflicted wounds on oneself? I was spouting that the q wouldnt be done anytime soon quite awhile ago. Putting that aside the reality is that the auditing will get done and when it does the Q will follow in turn with the follow up Q on its tail. We will refile for current status on QB, pay the fines and move on.
I get the investor frustration with Players but I must say that Players has been more transparent than any other company I have invested in, continually touching base with all of us via facebook lives, webinars, e mail, text, etc trying to keep us informed as best as possible. This is where many will say I have been fooled and bough swampland thinking it was high priced land. I get it and respectfully disagree.
IMO this will be a great long term investment and at times and perhaps more often a fabulous flip (not lately though as we have run pretty stable at a higher price than many think is warranted). In others opinion this is junk (respectfully disagree and at this time the SP is holding up). I am paying less attention to today and looking to the horizon for my payoff. They are in 2 incredible market spaces and will thrive over time. But I am fully expecting that we have a ways to go and that things will be slow. Thats ok with me.
It's also Thursday and the typical day we would hear from Players with a facebook live and or a PR. We'll see is the ultimate anser at the end of the day but for me I am fully with them moving forward.
