Yes the CRO doesn't have much to fear with us. We won't use them anymore, but that's hardly a concern for the CRO. This is a contract dispute over expenses and timing, not a robbery. They want to be paid, and they know their best chance of getting paid is by withholding the data. If they're following the established protocol, it's still unblinded (IPIX will do the unblinding, not the CRO).
I'm just glad this hasn't erupted into a lawsuit, even though chances of that were always slim.
