Won’t Matter To Smart People

Will it matter if patients are now living normal lives after being treated with A2-73?

What if, per chance (or, actual unique mechanisms of action) that the Australians continuing to take Anavex 2-73 actually have, by and large, greatly improved qualities of life, absent the normal debilities of progressing Alzheimer’s?

For those folks, of course, really good. But for smart people, those who know how proper science must be done, any and all of such reports will be utterly discounted. “Science” relies (so it is thought, but often disregarded) on confirming replication of any really good medical results. Bad results virtually always indicate inefficacy; no replication required.

So, let me predict, should at any time before the formal end and announcement of proper clinical trials of Anavex 2-73 really positive “results” leak, those will be immediately squashed “as merely anecdotal, far more data needed.”

Until formal results of a positive nature appear, nothing good can be presumed for Anavex 2-73. In fact, even with such results, all of the usual voices will call for “more accurate, confirming trials.”

Will be interesting to see how early, positive results leaking from of any of the three Anavex 2-73 trials play out when reported in the general media.
