RSI is not a reliable indicator for highly volatile stocks at all ESPECIALLY when used alone. And its in fact the reason that Wilder, who invented the indicator, recently changed the calculation by introducing the new concept of the failure indicator. OTC Pinks (highest volatility stocks) continue to stay in "overbought" territory for long terms or conversely stay in "oversold" territory for long terms on these types of stocks. You may want to educate yourself on RSI further and the concept of the failure indicator. It is a relatively new concept by Wilder so understandable many are uneducated about it.
