Good observation Kiwi. I don't know if the Adcom was pivotal in my becoming more risk averse or not. However, it was around that time that I did become more conservative. It could have also been that I got tired of losing money buying and selling options and finally settled in to investing in stocks and diversifying. By the time R-I came out a couple of weeks ago, my portfolio would not have suffered a disaster if the results came out negative. I could not say that back right after the Adcom as most of my funds were concentrated in Amarin.

I never reduced the amount of Amarin (I added) however, I grew the rest of my portfolio to the point I could have withstood a negative R-I. Glad it didn't happen that way though.

Thanks for the post. I think Khaneman won the Nobel prize in economics, despite being a psychologist. His theory was not intuitively obvious and had a big impact on the field of behavioral economics.
